As the Garden Grows

Well,..I thought i would do an update on the many plants i have recieved from Ottawaplantcycle and how they are doing. I grow them so i can improve on the naked landscape i got when i moved here.I also like to "share" my plants. I have quite a few this year along with the ones that came back from last year. I have been gifting for some time this year now .I wonder how the lil' ones are doing i gave out.
Here is a blog on Val's Garden and the wonders and mysterys in there that keep her from going into the house.What's growing in Val's Garden.?..Lets take a look.

An experimental patch for the Iron Cross is doing well..anyone else's Iron Cross bulbs doing this good.?


The lilys are short and sweet hehe.


The Castor Bean Plant is doing ok.Hmmmm


A quick blooming Datura gives me a seed pod to dry out and share.


Last years little "gifted" came back three times more...


A late and last miniute dash for Zinnia's are working out well as they smile.


This years Clemetis is climbing up a trellis i found.


It was a great use for a broken pot and an empty spot..its growing.Ice plant..love 'em.


The Periwinkle that was dropped off here is growing.No one came to pick any up so i planted it today by the pond.It'll grow.


Finally,!!...the Geraniniums are blooming flowers for me..


The chocolate mint is trying to make a comeback.If i dontcut it all and gift it all.lol The tire is there so it doesnt get mowed like the rest of the lawn should be.

Royal Burgundy Beans growing...


Tomatoes a green beside the burgundy royal beans.


Beans a climbin' beside the pots of tomatoes(which are btw doing better than the toms in the ground lol)


Anyone out there know how i can dig up the roots to these lovely orleander tree that is sprouting out so i can share them.


Pothos anyone.??
I made lots of them from a curbside rescue i was alerted to (by Jocelyne).I gave away many but still have a couple nice healthy ones left.


I have offered up this lovely wandering jew i planted from Carol's lemon tree package. (It came in the bottom and i made 2 wandering jew plants )


Last years clemetis came back this year. i thought it was copput.Hello!


A sweet potatoe plant is blooming.


Jens Pom poms are doing well beside the house where i dont mind them spreading.Next to the spreading morning of glory i planted.It all comes up good there on that side of the house.


I love this plant beside the crown of thorns.



I was told i would get climbing beans from this seed.And climb they are...

And growing...

Looks like its gonna be big.!On the left..anyone?


Comming up near the front door is this plant also...anyone can help me out with a guess.?.


I have some mystery plants myself now.Comming up in the herb box is a plant i dont remember planting(i know, i know...labels!!).Does anyone know what this .is??

Recieved on Ottawaplantcycle

I have finally purchased a ditital Camera.Yeay!!!!. I gave up waiting for an offer an and bought one.We need pictures now right,?..anyway, these are the lastest plants to come home with me.
Thanks to members of Ottawaplantcycle.
This is Lemon thyme, rosemary and coriander for my mom.
I dug up Jens rodedendrom (sp) and put it in a shadier spot . I used this broken pot and some ice plant to replace the empty space.
Telsing's sage..nestling in the herb box..growing nicely now...
Cannot for the life of me find the post for these fall door decorations that i offered up so i cannot post a taken...i can show you what i did with them tho...made these lovely scarecrows for the garden with them..TAKEN!!
Tomatoes in pots as well as the garden are growing well.....a brug sits among them...
Carols lemon tree...growing leaves in abundance outside..its comming in with me this fall carol.: )
The potting station (where i do most of my potting). This is mostly chocolate mint and sage etc..
I heard these beans would climb nicely so i tried some. They are climbing.

Telsing gifted me this lavender so i could try and "fix it"..its comming round Telsing. : )
So there you have it. The present...almost..i have soo much to photograph..more plants to share and share...and i now have a digi camera..if only i knew how to use it...lolololol
